7/15/2009
Floor coverings are going in at the north end of the building along with cabinets. Drywall is still being installed at the south end of the building. Exterior sidewalks are finishing up in preparation for parking lot paving in the next two weeks. Installation of the remainder of the exterior brick should start next week. The new playground equipment will be installed next week. Everything is on track for the scheduled school opening.

North Wing and Addition – Painting is in progress. Kitchen rough-in is in progress.
South Wing – Demolition is close to being complete. Under-slab work is in progress. Ceilings are all insulated and drywall is complete. Electrical rough-in underway.
South Addition – Drywall installation in progress. Fire Sprinklers being installed.
East Addition – Framing complete. Mechanical and Electrical rough-in in progress.

Painting is in progress in the north wing and addition. All asbestos abatement work is complete. The south wing of the existing building has demolition work being completed and new insulation and framing going in. The south addition is weathered in and has mechanical and electrical rough-in in progress. Site grading and concrete is in progress.

Drywall in the north addition is complete and the painter should start in this area next week. Asbestos abatement is complete and demolition is taking place in the south wing of the existing building. The north addition is now at the same level of completion as the existing north wing. The west addition is ready for drywall. The south addition is framed and plumbing, HVAC and electrical rough-in is underway. The east addition is ready for steel which should be next week. The bus loop curb and gutter and the north drain pan have been poured. Prep work is underway for the play area and the sidewalks.

North wing of the existing building electrical and mechanical rough-in is complete and insulation and drywall are being installed.
The north addition has windows installed and the brick veneer is going up. The west addition has brick being installed. The south addition has sheathing and building wrap up plus mechanical and electrical rough-in is taking place. The asbestos abatement is three-fourths complete and proceeding on schedule.  5/27/2009
Work continues in the north wing renovation area. The north and west additions are weathered in. Steel for the south addition will start next week. Foundations for the east addition are in place and the slab will be poured next week. Asbestos abatement continues in the existing south wing and center portion of the building. Abatement is complete in the mechanical room.

North Addition : Concrete Slab has been poured; Steel framing is set, and exterior wall framing is in progress
West Addition : Steel framing for new construction is set; exterior wall & roof framing is in progress
East Addition : Interior demolition at mechancial room is in progess; Excavation for new foundations to commence asap
East Addition : On hold pending Owner occupancy & abatement egress
South Addition : Concrete Foundations & perimeter insulation are complete; Concrete Slab pouring is awaiting plumbing rough-in
Interior Renovation: Plumbing tie-in & Concrete Slab patching complete at North end of existing Corridor 131; Interior Demolition at South end of building limited by Owner occupancy & necessary abatement

Slab for the west addition has been poured. Steel for the west and north additions is being set. The north addition slab is ready to be poured. Mechanical demolition in the north wing is in progress. Stem walls for the south addition were poured on Thursday. Underground plumbing rough-in is starting.
4/30/2009
Status of the work is, foundations are completed, waterproofing and insulation installed and most backfilling completed. Slabs for the additions will be poured next week. Interior demolition in the 1986 portion of the building is complete.
